Crazy how game plays out. When you are winning too much; they put you on a losing streak. You are given ZERO wilds and bad cards. The other gets amazing cards. It's set up. Why not have an honest dealt game???

The ads are way over the top. Deleted the app.

I am sure I’ll learn the where, why and what of this game eventually. There are hints as errors are made, but I would like perhaps a screen pop up with a better explanation whenever I do something wrong. I think when you make a canasta it should be more clear on the board. It’s a great game to learn.

This app would be great if it were not for the ads. I don’t mind normal ads, it’s all part of playing apps. Ads that require you to click out of it 3 different times is just too much. Y’all fixed other issues I had with the ads on this app, please fix this too!

Even on the strongest setting your partner will sit on his cards and not meld, discarding wild cards, while the other team racks up points. Don’t bother with this game. It will only frustrate you. I would call my human partner an ID ten T if he played like the developers coded the game to play

In the last couple of weeks this game has become a weak point for malicious software attacks. My security app has intercepted at least one attack per round. Additionally, it takes multiple clicks to clear ads. This was not evident when I downloaded this game in the beginning. Then it became an annoyance. However, at some point that disappeared. Perhaps another user pointed it out - or maybe multiple users. 3-5 clicks per ad add up. Now it has come back and your aim better be precise as the target for dismissing the ad seems to be quite small. But it seems that this has become the norm across the whole of Apple Store apps.

I love playing this game, but why is my partner always holding on to its card and not playing on melds, using it wild cards to freeze deck when they could of been used to help us score. Also it always gives me 3 wild cards when melt is 50 and never any wild cards when melt is 120 especially if our score is higher. Please fix this bugs!!! becoming very

I enjoy the game, although it kicks me out mid game and I’m not sure why. It can be frustrating.

1 in 5 games will glitch and not deal the new hand. Resulting in a loss because player cannot play subsequent hand. Occasionally game will say player left when it’s not the case. If player time runs out with known players, computer plays round for both players. Too many glitches.

The game started out nice but have reinstalled a few times because it crashes or failed to deal the deck, or won’t connect to profiles for matches. Would love to see it working properly. The ads are of course annoying. But won’t pay for a game that isn’t working.

I enjoy the game when it works. I am currently playing the free version. I like playing online against others. Sadly, much too often the screen goes back to the card table after the ads between hands, but I cannot see any cards for my hand and cannot play. If I stay with the game, I can see my time run out and others “light up” for their turn a few time. Eventually the game just tells me that I have forfeited since I am not connected to the game. Very aggravating for me and probably for those that I am playing with.

Can not connect for days and then when you can, it glitches. This game is always having issues and nothing ever gets fixed.

I absolutely loved playing Canasta. Great game.

Half of the cards are cut off in my hand. I play on my iPad, I cannot see my cards on the left side of the screen when I have a bunch of cards. Fix this and I would give it 5 stars otherwise it’s unplayable.

For some reason, I have not been able to find any partners all day today. That is extremely unusual, as that has never happened before. I don’t know if partners are not being looked for or what is going on.

I’ve been playing this game for many years and I’m satisfied this is the best Canasta online app out there (no ad version is worth the small cost) However, this app does experience outages. And when that happens, historically speaking, the game is down for 5/6 days; it’s an minor inconvenience because the other apps are leagues apart.

The best canasta online platform there is. Ease of getting into games, and I love 3000 point games.

I can’t seem to be able to get it to join or load an online game theses last 3 days has happened before sad because it’s the best online canasta app

I’ve been playing this game online for years and love it but Canasta online feature is currently not working. I have several friends and family that are having the same issue.

I can’t play online only offline only I don’t know what happened. I love playing Canasta a lot. Please fix this problem.

I love this game so it’s so frustrating when you come back from an ad in between hands and the deck never shuffles, yet the turn timer goes down for every player, and the only way out to to x out. Then of course the other team gets the points for the win. I’ve let it run down for 10 minutes and it seems I’m the only one that quit after all that time? Nonsense. Today, online games don’t load at all. I deleted and reinstalled the game, lost all of my years of stats, and it STILL DOESNT WORK 😠

Why does this game have to freeze all the time. I have played 3 games this morning and every time I go out it freezes. Then when I look it marks it as a loss. Can’t even get on to play it just searches now.

It’s been a few days now. Online is not working. Loved this game with that feature. I was able to play with live players. What happened???? Is this permanent?

It’s a fun game to play. It helps me to play canasta with my friends.

I play online games a lot, 3000+ games to date, and it’s very fun. I struggle with how often it gets hung up between hands, freezes, and then it’s just stuck there. Waiting won’t help it recover. I end up cancelling the game. It’s frustrating!

Developers, I’m getting really slow game play,miss-deals where computer gets cards dealt then pulling everything back and doing it again sometimes twice or three times. I’m also seeing oddness where my robot partner draws a card when play is to opponent on my left. Partner draws, holds that card while opponent plays then (usually) discards. Most startling is when that happens and the last card discarded by me is locked into discard pile. Opponent picks pile, plays their two matching cards and discards. Only TWO cards played!?

The title sums it up. 4 player crashed again and again, or froze, the broke.. weeks later not fixed… now 2 player and offline doing the same thing… wasted dl!

Only thing I don’t like is when it freezes a game and counts as a loss… ugggg especially when you are winning..

I have been playing canasta since I was a youngster. I come from a very large family of canasta players. All of the second generation of canasta players in my very large family have passed on the passion of canasta to our children and their spouses and who now have passed the love for this game to the great grandchildren of the first person that I’m aware that started this tradition of playing, my FATHER, NOW DECEASED. THANK YOU DAD FOR TEACHING US THIS GAME, which we can now play on our iPads. Love, love, love this game!

Partner is too weak.

I love the game I just don’t like the fact that people quit on you and can’t communicate with them. Otherwise it’s the best game thus far

I enjoy playing but hate that when computer picks up it lays down 2 face cards with a wild you have to have 2 in hand and pick up the pile that is 3 face cards not 2 with a wild.

I would like a partner who knows how to play. Stop so many ads! I’ve set up for canasta

Since you have added the advertisements I keep getting kicked out of games because of them! My team is winning and then an ad comes up after deal and gets stuck and I have no other recourse but to leave! Take out the ads until after a game or I’m gone! I use to enjoy your game- NO MORE!’ I gave a 2 just to be nice

Even after the “bug fixes” the game is still glitchy. The animation is SO slow.

The game had a mind of its own sometimes. Very frustrating! You end up losing because it says you left game when you did not. Ugh.

Another update It’s been years since the major interface update that gave my phone psychic powers when playing offline, and it still has psychic powers. The AI player to my right ALWAYS knows what’s in my hand and doesn’t throw off. Maybe one day the balance will return. - update ends. Firstly, this is a big improvement on the previous interface, which was already great however there are some issues: Rules: - red 3 should deduct from final score if no canasta, currently they just don’t add - no meld or stack should be able to have equal wilds as real cards, should always be at least one less Gameplay: - the computer seems to know what is in your hand, or somehow it knows what’s in its partners hand and does the probability maths. My discard pickup rate is approx 1:10 (maybe worse) against computer. I’ve had the computer opponent throw 8 wilds in a row when it had an almost full hand I had a full hand of pairs, 5 different pairs but the computer didn’t throw any of those cards, and it’s like this most games. Something isn’t right. No human player is that lucky. <edit Sept 1st, 2019> Can you please check the code to make sure that the skill levels of the partners match the skill level of the opposition? I’m also convinced that a top level partner only has the skill of a mid-level opponent. I play with both on highest skill level and my partner does some dumb things - the opposing team always play brilliantly. I guess it could also be that the computer struggles to analyze my gameplay and adapt however I’m constantly frustrated by the partner gameplay. <edit April 14, 2021> *important note - I only play offline, 4 player* Well I’m pleased to say that partner skill level has increased. I’m not pleased to say that opponent ability to see through my cards has also increased. The ability to almost never throw something I have in my hand until we are down to single digits in the pickup pile is uncanny, and truly spoils the experience. I like a challenge but to lose so many games due to never getting a discard pile is annoying. It really does feel like there’s a leak in the code that lets the opponents know what is in mine and my partners hand. I was hoping that this could be fixed and some of the opponent code from the old version integrated to balance the table. However I keep playing this version because I like the challenge and all the other apps I’ve tried are too easy to beat.

I’ve been playing canasta on this app for several years. I don’t enjoy it as much being able to only draw one card at a time.

Fun game but when playing “online” the game closes if I’m winning, very frustrating rarely finishing a game! That’s why I’m only giving this game three stars.

This version shows it is computer generated. Instead of playing to help partner, sandbagging takes place. So it helps you practice, but not improve your game.

Have enjoyed many hours of fun
